Soil roughnessFrom June 1-14, soil surface roughness will be measured over the fields using the 1-m long profilometer. Over each field, three replicates of 3-m profiles will be created at one site in the look directions of RADARSAT-2 satellite and of UAVSAR. Mean roughness values will be derived from the pictures of these profiles taken with a digital camera.
